the glamorous STARS.... keke

There are 3 other hotels up and running liao ~> Festive Hotel ( the family oriented theme, I thought the double decked bed in a hotel room is definitely COOL!), Hotel Michael ( the artistic one, so obviously I'm not there) and Crockfords ( dunno what theme)...

Hard Rock Hotel!

Something to share.. When I first did my booking through the Resorts Hotel website, I had problem accessing the online reservation and the hotline is, surprisingly, not available on weekends.

Nevermind that, I dropped them an email to enquire the rates and availability. At the same time, I browsed to find alternative booking method aka through AsiaTravel. The funny part is Asia Travel quoted me $220 per nite, while Resorts Hotel quoted me $225+. Well, not very significant but still I'm happy to make a small savings. You should compare prices first if you are considering booking a room lor..

Ok, let's proceed to "tour" around the hotel!!

I thought Domino is GOOOOOOOD! Big serving, speedy service and definitely cheap!

I came to know of it when I was in Australia.  The price in Singapore is not as cheap though.. haha.. but right now, they are having this 10cents for 1 regular pizza, with a purchase of standard pizza! WOW!!

Grab it now!  http://www.dominos.com.sg/Default.aspx

Updates of myself

3:13:00 PM Unknown 1 Comments

After some cock up in their reservation, I finally confirmed a room and I'm so going to Hard Rock Hotel Sentosa!

Ya, I know.. IR is not entirely opened but that is not going to stop me from feeling like a glamorous star in a night stay!

We want to seize the opportunity of the soft launch, which currently is around $220 per room. The price will go up once everything is up and operating. I can jolly well make use of the new hotel facilities as well as tour around the rest of Sentosa. ^_^

On top of that, I'm going to Dubai soon for work. Another hotel stay for me and we are still in the first quarter of the year! Put aside the fact that I'm going there for work, I adore hotel stay coz of the big cozy bed and the fact that I can eat and watch TV on the bed. Something that I cant do at home, of coz... Hehe

I probably do some blogging ( if I have time and the connection). So dun forget to keep checking back here, I will try to update whenever and wherever I can!

It's a good time for me to start training for the Sundown Marathon 2010 since the gym is so readily available in the hotel. I have signed up for the run, which will be held in May 2010.I have heard horrible stories of people collapsing in such events, hmm, kinda worried now since I seldom exercise lor.... HOW!!??!!

The worst part is, I signed up for the 21km....  ~_~

Anyone has any tips for training up your body for massive run in the shortest time?

Ok, I off to upload photos for my new review! Till then, have a good week ahead!

Lai Lai Beef Noodles [Closed]

I never know beef noodles can be a resturant on its own... Well, until I saw this place at Jurong Point.

Taiwanese Beef Noodles! Wow!

I love taiwanese beef noodles, especially the one selling at Jiu Fen. For those who have been to Taiwan, I'm sure you know which one i'm refering.. The soup was fantastic if you prefer more herbal taste, and the meat will just dissolve in your mouth.. I'm drooling oreadi!

Back to reality... This place at Jurong Point, can it make it?

Claypot Fun [Closed]

2:15:00 PM Unknown 0 Comments

This was recommended in one of the chinese TV food show quite sometime ago. Well, I'm never a claypot fan ( probably because I never have a chance to taste one fantastic one) , so there isnt any motivation to drive all the way to ECP just for it. Then again, I always keep it in mind in case I run out of idea of where to dine...Keke

So after a long long time,  I finally made a visit to Claypot Fun.

The minute I walked in, it was as if I was transported back to the past, in the 60s, 70s... The place is really  retro, ranging from the wall pictures, furniture and the utensils used.  Kinda cool hor?

Before looking at the food, how about a "tour" around the resturant?

The King Louis Grill & Bar

Time really flies.. It's now 1 Jan 2010!

Did you manage to achieve all your goals and resolutions in 2009? If not, well, there's always 2010, 2011, 2012 etc.. =p

I dun really believe in setting resolutions in the new year. Well, you can say I have no long term goals. But I rather live my life as it comes. Things will change, people will change, your thinking will change.. so why should I set a goal which might eventually need to be changed? Hahaha...

Ok, anyway before this entry gets very "expired", let me do a quick review of King Louis where I had my Christmas dinner. =)
