Macau/ Hongkong/Zhuhai/ Shenzhen (Part 2)

Back at HK, the tour guide offered an optional package for breakfast + seafood lunch ( which was not included in the itinerary) at approximately S$50+ ( Hk$200+).

I was offered the same thing in my last HK trip in 2009. I dun find the meals so fantastic then, therefore I was really skeptical when the tour guide boosted about how worthwhile the package was, the breakfast consisted of 8 items and the lunch contained seafood spread and blah blah blah... I guess, if you are new in HK, you will be pretty tempted. But really, you can get good food in HK without spending so much, anytime. Anyway,I confirmed the venue of the breakfast with my tour guide and viola! It was the same resturant again (at least for the breakfast)!

I was no fool to pay S$50+ for such spread. The food was passable, but obviously overpriced. I guess all the half day tour will bring you to the standard dining places if you choose to take up the option. If you are lazy & rich, please go ahead with it. If not, I strongly suggest  FIND YOUR OWN FOOD! =p

KFC Egg Tarts!

9:22:00 PM Unknown 1 Comments

I was so tempted by the advertisement on my blog, that I went to buy KFC egg tarts today! Keke  ^_^

Freshly baked egg tarts - A box of 6 for $7.50 ( 1 pc @ $1.30)

I loved it! The egg tart was better than the KFC chicken. The crust was soft and flaky. The custard was like tofu, so soft! It totally melt in the mouth. Quick, go and try it if you havent try it!

Impt note: Eat it while it's hot!

Macau/ Hongkong/Zhuhai/ Shenzhen (Part 1)

This ought to be an enjoyable trip - shopping and eating, what can be more relaxing?

However, a lot of hiccups here and there, first the weather ~ it was practically raining from Day 1 to Day 5; then the stupid agency ~ I'm gonna condemn ASA, and I'm going to explain why, and it was a BIG mistake to cover 3 countries ( Macau, HongKong and China) in 5 days ~ all the custom clearances were taking up so much time!

But on a positive note, I know how to travel to Macau and Shenzhen from HK now le.. *weak smile*

If you are keen to know:

HK - Macau:

If you are going straight to Macau from HK international airport: Proceed to TurboJET SeaExpress counter located at E-2 zone before immigration counters. Please click on the link for more ticketing information.

Just a note, you will need to take a 2minute train ride from HK IA to the ferry terminal, so do remember to factor in travelling time!

If you are going to Macau from HK Tsim Sha Tsui: Take a ferry from China Ferry Terminal. Please click on the link for more ticketing information

HK - Shenzhen:

Just take the MTR and alight at Lok Ma Chau ( East Rail Line). So easy!

 Hi gals & guys,

I'm off to a 5 day trip to HK, Macau, Shenzhen & Zhuhai. It's basically a shopping & eating trip. Hopefully, I can really grab some cheap and good stuffs back! ^_^

And oh ya, we are taking SQ A380!!! Although sad to say, we cant get the window seats! >.<  But it's still good, since it's probably the cheapest journey to take A380.. keke..

Till I'm back, have a good week ahead!

Noble House [Closed]

It was not my first time coming to Noble House ( Tanjong Pagar). When I was still working at DBS Building, my mentor group used to come here when the partner felt like treating.. Keke. My impression then was pretty good, nice food, nice ambience and definitely great companions!
