Movies again!

8:50:00 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Watched two movies recently and both I like! ^_^

Caught "Jack, the Giant Slayer" while I was in KL.  The 3D version is only RM20, so must watch 3D! Can you believe it? This was actually the 2nd movie that I have watched the 3D version, the first been Avatar. Seriously, I think 3D movie nothing much leh,  cant really feel the effect, except of the pinch of a more expensive tickets. Keke

Back to the movie. This appears to be an adult version of our childhood tale " Jack & the Beanstalk". Well, except for the same beans that will grow into gigantic beanstalks that reach the sky, the story is actually quite different. This time round with the excitement of more hideous looking giants ( that's why I dun think this movie is suitable for young children) and some romance. A good entertainment for big children and family & friends.

I love fantasy movies, which allow one to dream the impossible.  Again, this movie is inspired from the "Wizard of Oz" but without our familiar characters of Dorothy, Tin Woodman, Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion. Instead, we were introduced new characters of The Great Magician, the flying monkey & the china girl.  Hey, new characters mean new spices in the story.  Definitely another entertaining movie to watch - there were so much laughter in the cinema theatre just now. Well, either it proved my point or we happened to be a brunch of funny people watching a movie together. Heehee

Im back!

Hey ya, I'm back from KL! ^_^

Coz it was purely a work trip, basically nothing exciting to blog about.  But hold on, I still manage to take pictures of the hotel and FOOD! Are you ready to be blast with lotza pictures? LOL

I stayed in Hilton KL for the past 2 weeks. Superb good location if you are considering a trip to KL. It is conveniently located next to SL Central station which is the interchange for KTM and Rapid Line, as well as the KLIA ( a 28min express train to the airport).

As you can see, it has a modern layout in the room with a very big bathroom, furnished with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. To add on, the hotel has a very nice swimming pool with slide, a pity that I dun have the time to use the facilities. =(
