Came here with a broken sandal and so my first purchase was a pair of slippers for just 50baht. Flip flop is still the most 'reliable' footware.

So big is this market that I NEVER ONCE try to cover the whole area. But if you want, do get a map at the entrance.

There are alleys leading to more lanes of mini stalls/shops. You probably need to bring 'gadgets' like mini fan, hat, shades to keep yourself cooling. I can never tahan the heat, coupled that the lanes are so cramped.

This is located near Section 1 & Section 2 of the market, which is nearer to the Kamphaenpetch MRT. One of the best way to cool yourself. One scoop with 3 topping of your choice plus a free cup of coconut water is just 40baht, less than S$2. Cheap and good!

Try the mochi,especially cooling in the hot weather! Let it slowly melts in your mouth to taste the flavor.

Bought the fried squid eggs, very normal leh. Can try if you are in a big group, otherwise I recommend to invest your baht in other more interesting food. Didnt finish them coz worried about cholesterol. #woesofgrowingold

We came too early and it was drizzling, so most of the stalls had not set up yet. We grabbed a cheese toast, simple and good, to kill time. We waited till 8 plus and still most stalls were not opened, probably due to a rainy Thursday night. Not as bustling as I expected. *Shrugged* Probably weekend will be a better time to come here?

My favourite mall! It does not have so many shops as Platinum Mall, which is good as too many shops can be confusing too. The walking space is bigger which makes shopping experience more comfy; Platinum Mall is more like 'war zone'.

I "deposited" hubby at the A&W and came back with bags of loot! Office dress as cheap as 200baht, freaking S$8! Better quality ones at the Young Designer Zone, was 400 - 500 baht, still very cheap! I bought most of my dresses, tops and casuals here.

This is like Far East Square, but probably a few times bigger. You can find practically everything here from shoes, bags to fashion. In fact, I saw many items here selling at online blogshops that I felt 'cheated' to buy from blogshops. Probably the quality at blogshops are better? Hmmm, not sure leh? 

Btw, there's also a Wacoal shop here if you are not going to Terminal 21.

Nothing much here, although I bought bag for my niece here and bikini for myself, which can be found easily at Platinum Mall as well. If  you have limited time, just skip here.

Read on blogs that if you want good bargain, better to come early in the morning. I simply cant wpke up so early on a holiday, so we went at around 9am. Wholesale price if you are getting 3 pieces, some allow to mix design while some dont.  Bought some tops at 150baht (non wholesale price)which was a steal still as the quality was quite good. At least, the tops that I bought dont look like it's just S$6 each. #cheapthrill

However,  it's really like a 'market' - no aircon and some areas are selling really 'auntie and chi-na' style fashion. Got to have patience to find 'treasure' here.

I suggest to come here in the morning to try your luck and then proceed to eat wanton noodles at Sabx2. Finally, continue shopping at Platinum Mall, which is air-conditioned. 

Tips for shopping:

1) Bring a measuring tape. Although it looks weird to hang a measuring tape around the neck like a seamstress, it helps to check whether the size fits. Unless you are super thin. #hateyou

2) Dress light. So that you can wear over the new item if the shop owner allows to try. I did that to try out the bikini. #unglam LOL

3) Bring lots of bahts!  There are simply too many things that you can buy!Too cheap so buy first, think later! #badinfluence
